On Monday night, Rep. Ilhan Omar just said Israel is not a true democracy, not an ally, and we should cut off military-economic aid (money that’s mostly spent w/US manufacturers & a program that helps our military) to Israel. Every Democrat should go on record to say if they stand Omar on this so we can get them on the record too.
We give Israel more than $3 million in aid every year. This is predicated on them being an important ally in the region and (airquotes) “the only democracy” in the Middle East. But denying a visit to duly elected members of Congress is not consistent with being an ally and denying millions of people freedom of movement, or expression or self determination is not consistent with being a democracy. We must be asking as Israel’s ally the Netanyahu government stop the expansion of settlements on Palestinian land and ensure full rights to Palestinians if we are to give them aid. These are not just my views.
Now, do you understand why you’re banned from Israel? Thanks for the confirmation and doubling down.

To those two anti-semite ladies, Israel is not our ally. They side with Hamas and other radical groups. Many of their fellow Democrats feel the same but don’t have the political courage, to be honest. President Obama felt the same and knew it was political suicide, to be honest. He colluded with the Israeli elections in the hope of ousting Benjamin Netanyahu. Thank goodness he wasn’t successful. Keep talking ladies! You are the new poster girls for hate and racism on the left.
