It appears as if the NFL is still reeling from the “National Anthem” disaster.
As the new season opens and the NFL tries to put Colin Kapernick’s “take a knee” controversy behind them, Americans may still be holding a grudge against the league.
A very big grudge.

Thanks to the NFL turning into a progressive social justice warrior league, last season we saw an awful lot of empty seats at stadiums across the country, and this season may not be much different.
This week starts the NFL’s 100th season, but some teams seem to still be finding a awful lot of empty seats.
As the Cleveland Browns took on — and lost 43-13 to — the Tennessee Titans at FirstEnergy Stadium, for instance, fans took to social media to express their shock at the number of empty seats: [Breitbart]
Lots of empty seats in Cleveland.

Things weren’t looking much better for the Carolina’s Panthers, who had a slew of empty seats.

It looks like the folks in Miami decided to go to the beach, instead of the game.
No team has less hope this season than the Miami Dolphins. This is especially true as they basically said, “Yes, we are tanking” before the season with some trades. Luckily, their fans do not appear to be in denial. Their season opened today at home against the Baltimore Ravens and there is a good chance you will find more Dolphins fans sitting on the beach.

However, while many NFL teams suffer across the country, one team is soaring.
The New England Patriots – America’s team – is feeling the love.
The New England Patriots opened their 2019 campaign in championship fashion, unveiling their sixth Super Bowl banner and defeating the Pittsburgh Steelers, 33-3, at Gillette Stadium in a primetime matchup on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
With the victory, which extended the Patriots’ undefeated streak at home to 14 regular season games, the team also extended their winning streak in television ratings, both in the local and national markets.
Locally, the game delivered a 35.1 household rating and 58 share in the Boston market, which is the highest season-opener rating for the Patriots since 2016. The game averaged 1,298,600 viewers in Boston and peaked with over 1.5 million local viewers and a 39.7 rating at 9:15 p.m. With these numbers, the Patriots once again claimed the week’s top spot in local ratings across all programming in Boston.
The Patriots-Steelers game proved a must-see matchup for national audiences, as well. The NBC broadcast generated an overnight household rating of 14.8 and share of 26 (not including digital), which marks a 3 percent increase over last year’s Sunday Night Football opener between the Bears and Packers. The game also averaged 22.7 million viewers across platforms, making it NBC Sports Digital’s most streamed Sunday regular season game ever. [Patriots.com].
Love them or hate them, the Belichick and Brady duo is the epitome of professionalism in an otherwise unprofessional league filled with attention-seeking man-babies.
The New England Patriots have gone to the Super Bowl each year that President Trump has been in office. President Trump is good friends with Tom Brady, Bill Belichick, and Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
Winners like winners.
Remember when Brady was conducting an interview and his MAGA hat was spotted in the background?
Liberals were so butt-hurt over the incident, even Harry Potter chimed in.
Daniel Radcliffe stopped by the Variety Studio at Sundance presented by AT&T, where he delivered a special message to Patriots quarterback and Trump supporter Tom Brady.
“Take that MAGA hat out your locker,” Radcliffe quipped after explaining that though Brady shouldn’t retire, he should “stop winning things.”
“I feel like that was the moment when we were like, as a country, ‘Oh, c’mon, dude, we all want to be behind you, you’re awesome, don’t put that in there.’” [Variety]
During “kneel-gate,” the Patriots didn’t turn into whiny social justice warriors. They stayed focus on football, and as a result, they’ve succeeded where other teams have faltered.
All Patriot players will stand this Sunday during the National Anthem, a league source told me.

If you had to pick a “MAGA” team, the Patriots would be it.
So is it any wonder that the Patriots are enjoying high viewing numbers and scores of victories?
