President Donald Trump is hosting a 2020 re-election rally on Tuesday evening, just ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, in Sunrise, Florida.

The president is expected to take the stage at 7 p.m.

Last month, the president changed his primary residence from New York to Florida.

“The president’s ‘homecoming’ rally is expected to bring thousands of people to the BB&T Center in Sunrise to celebrate his ‘move’ from Manhattan’s Trump Tower to Palm Beach’s Mar-a-Lago,” as The Miami Herald noted ahead of the rally.

The president and his family will be spending the Thanksgiving holiday in Mar-a-Lago, not far from Sunrise.

And see this tweet, among many others, that the president shared earlier today:

Supporters began waiting hours ahead of time to get into this pre-Thanksgiving campaign rally, as the Sun-Sentinel noted.

Thousands of people were already inside the arena before the president, first lady Melania Trump and other family members boarded Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews for their flight down to South Florida today.

They left Washington, D.C., around 4:15 p.m. for Florida.
